Police Records Requests

The Records Access Officer for the Hadley Police Department is Lt. Mitchell Kuc. 

Records requests are accepted Monday-Friday (excluding legal Holidays) 8:00 am - 4:00 pm by emailing: Records@hadleyma.gov to obtain any Incident Reports, Arrest Reports or Call Log Entries.

Please include your Name, Phone Number, Address, Date of Birth, and Summary of Request.

Crash Reports are available on LexisNexis BuyCrash | Home (lexisnexisrisk.com), and may take up to 20-25 days to appear on the site. Crash reports from crashes that occurred on the 1st through the 15th of each month are uploaded between the 20th and the 25th of each month; from between the 15th and the end of month are uploaded between the 5th and 10th of the following month. 

The Hadley Police Department generally maintains the following types of police records;

  1. Police Logs- Format is Year-Sequentially Assigned number (Ex. the first call of the year in the log will be 22-1)
  2. Police Incident Reports- Format is Year-Sequentially Assigned number-OF (Ex. the first incident report of the year will be 22-1-OF)
  3. Police Arrest Reports- Format is Year-Sequentially Assigned number-AR. This is used for Physical Arrest and Summons.
  4. Police Crash Report- Format is Year-Sequentially Assigned number-AC. This is used for crash reporting.

Computerized logs began in 1998, and anything reported on prior may or may not be in our possession.

Massachusetts General Law allows 10 business days for a response to public records request.
