COA Transportation Services

Weekly Van Schedule
COA van runs Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 9am to 1pm.

• Shuttle route times: 9:15am, 10:30am, and 11:45am
• The last route at 11:45am is one-way pick up only
• Rides within Hadley: $1 each way
• Rides outside Hadley: $2 each way
• Additional stops: $1 each
• Drivers cannot enter your home or leave the van to look for you

Volunteer Medical Rides

• Available Monday–Friday, 9am–2pm
• New riders are required to complete a short intake with the Transportation Coordinator at 586-4023 x3
• Ride requests must be made at least 3 business days in advance and are not confirmed until a driver is assigned
• All ride requests go through Senior Center staff
• Riders must be able to safely enter and exit the Subaru on their own. If hands-on help is needed, an aide is required
• Drivers cannot go into your appointment
• Drivers cannot make extra stops or handle errands such as banking or prescription pick-ups, etc.                                                                                                                                                                                                        No transport for procedures involving anesthesia

If your driver has not arrived at the scheduled time, call the Senior Center at 586-4023 x6 and ask for an available staff member.

The Senior Center closes for all major holidays and for inclement weather. When the Center is closed, no rides are available.

COA staff may discontinue transportation services if a rider requires a higher level of care, or if there are behavioral or safety concerns.
