FY2023 ASSESSORS PUBLIC DISCLOSURE



The Town of Hadley ( www.hadleyma.org ) has completed its Fiscal Year 2023 five-year recertification of all real estate and personal property in the community.   The Town has received preliminary certification from the Massachusetts Department of Revenue for our FY2023 values. The Town must now conduct a Public Disclosure period where property owners can inquire and contest their new values prior to the Town being granted Final Certification by the Bureau of Local Assessment. The new values reflect the estimated full market value of the property as of the valuation date of January 1, 2022 based on recent construction data, income data and comparable sales from within the community over calendar year 2021.

All values have changed for FY2023. The Assessors’ Office has posted a copy of all town wide assessments for review on the Assessors web page.  https://www.hadleyma.org/board-assessors/pages/fy2023-proposed-values  The proposed property assessments are available for public review during the public disclosure period from Tuesday November 8, 2022 through Wednesday November 16, 2022 inclusive.

Listings will be available at the Assessors’ Office located at 100 Middle Street, Hadley MA 01035 during regular business hours. In addition, there will be evening office hours on Wednesday, November 16 2023 from 6:30 to 8:00 P.M. Proposed assessments and a comparable properties book can be found below.
