Today, the Baker-Polito Administration released Reopening Massachusetts, the Reopening Advisory Board’s report, which details a four-phased strategy to responsibly reopen businesses and activities while continuing to fight COVID-19. The Administration also released a new “Safer At Home” Advisory, which instructs residents to stay at home unless engaging with newly opened activities, as a way to continue limiting the spread of COVID-19. Starting today, based on current public health data and trends, Massachusetts will begin Phase 1 of a cautious reopening, and workplaces that are permitted to open are required to follow new safety protocols and guidance.

Give Blood: The COVID-19 virus has caused the cancellation of blood drives across the Commonwealth. There is an urgent need now. The Governor has deemed “Blood and plasma donors and the employees of the organizations that operate and manage related activities” as an essential service. Your support is needed to communicate to your residents that the need is urgent, and donating is a necessity to supply the hospitals with the blood our neighbors require. Donating blood is safe and people should not hesitate to give. In addition, there is a need for community blood drive sites in the eastern part of the state. Identifying donation sites is vital to meet the demand as we go forward. Your local knowledge, suggestions of sites, and potential partners are crucial to meeting the needs of our neighbors who need blood and blood products. To schedule a new blood drive contact Bill Forsyth at (617) 699-3808 or at email William.Forsyth@redcross.org. Those who are healthy, feeling well and eligible to give blood or platelets, are urged to make an appointment to donate as soon as possible by using the Red Cross Blood Donor App, visiting RedCrossBlood.org or calling 1- 800-RED CROSS (1-800-733-2767).

Check Out the Beautiful Photos of Our 2020 Graduates Jaime Beth Photography (who happens to be the wife of our very own Mr. Sudnick) has generously organized a beautiful Senior Send Off Project. Jaime Beth photographed every senior their caps and gowns. Please take a moment to scroll through each photo and celebrate our seniors. You can also find student athlete bios. The Sudnicks designed the athlete bios as an alternative to the sports awards ceremonies we typically hold at the end of the year. Jaime Beth Photography provided these photos free of charge to every family. They have established a scholarship fund for the graduating class. Jaime Beth Photography received several donations (currently at $1,000) for the scholarship fund. If you would like to donate to the Public Service Scholarship for graduates interested in careers in public service, please go to the Jaime Beth Photography Senior Send Off website. Thank you Jaime Beth Photography.
