Valley Community Development 
Town Specific CDBG Funds - Valley Community Development is administering grants up to $10,000 for low to moderate income business owners. There is still funding left for business owners who qualify. All of the information is on our website. To qualify, your business must be located in one the following towns: Amherst, Easthampton, Westhampton, Southampton, South Hadley, Hadley, Hatfield, Agawam, Southwick and Granby.

State Based - MGCC Round 2, and Sector Specific Grants - The Commonwealth of Massachusetts has made an additional $668 million available to support businesses through new and existing programs. Massachusetts Growth Capital Corporation (MGCC) the administrator of the grants will target a portion of these funds to sectors experiencing the most significant economic hardship and a loss of revenue due to the COVID-19 pandemic. (See next block below for details)

Federal Economic Aid Act - There is another round of funding being finalized in the next few days with a total of $325 Billion dollars to be made available. The program has another round of PPP funding up to $284.45 Billion dollars which can be used for other expenses as long as 60% is used for payroll. This is targeted for businesses under 300 employees with more than 25% decrease in revenue from 2019-2020. This new group of funds will include many categories and it could be complicated. Please attend one of the information sessions which we will be scheduling soon. These are anticipated to be finalized in less than two weeks. Here is a summary by the SBA for the PPP part of it.
