Movie Matinee

Growing up Trans (2015) is a powerful, award winning, PBS documentary introducing the viewer to eight transgender kids, (ranging in age from 9 to 19) their parents, and doctors. Beautifully directed by the acclaimed FRONTLINE filmmaking team Miri Navasky and Karen O’Connor, the film explores the struggles, choices and medical possibilities transgender kids and their families face today. Growing Up Trans is a deeply moving and thought provoking film. Discussion will follow the 83-minute movie facilitated by Hadley CDEI . Refreshments provided.
