CPA Recommendations Passed at the 2005 Annual Town Meeting

Affordable Housing
$30,000.00 set aside

Historic Preservation
$15,000.00 for tree work at the North Hadley Cemetery
$10,000.00 for fence replacement at Russellville Cemetery
$5,000.00 reserved for future historic preservation activity
Recreation
$6,000.00 for design of a recreation area at the Lower Reservoir

Conservation and Open Space
$75,200.00 for the purchase of development rights and agricultural preservation of two properties (8.35 acres); assisted by a donation of $4,800.00 from the Kestrel Trust for a total expenditure of $80,000.00

Committee Administration
$15,000.00 reserved for administrative expenses.

Reserved Revenues: $143,800.00 for future projects.

Any funds approved for projects that are unspent will revert to the Community Preservation Fund for future use.

Applications for funding are accepted on a ongoing basis. The Committee will act on requests for inclusion on the Annual or Fall Town Meeting warrants.
