Solid Waste Solutions has coordinated with the Highway Department to construct a holding area for brush at the transfer station. Acceptance of brush will begin on Monday June 30, 2003. Project details as follows:

The brush area will serve transfer station permit holders only. The charge will be $15.00 per cubic yard with a one cubic yard minimum.

Incoming material shall not exceed 4' in length or 4" in diameter.

Solid Waste Solutions will oversee incoming loads to the staging area and the Highway Department will keep the pile pushed back and consolidated.

As necessary, Solid Waste Solutions will provide a 40 cubic yard container to be loaded by the Highway Department. Per the permit, stockpiling will not exceed 200 cubic yards.

The facility will accept brush during normal business hours.
